Cleaning workers employed by the Howrah Municipal Corporation have gone on strike, which has halted their cleaning services prematurely.
The workers have been staging a protest at the corporation's premises for several days, and despite discussions with the Municipal Commissioner, no resolution has been achieved regarding their various demands.
